Project Engineer

Engineering company in Germiston, Gauteng requires Project Engineers (24-month fixed term contract) with the following qualifications:

1. Matric / Grade 12 certificate
2. National Diploma / BTech: Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical Engineering
3. 5-8 years' project management experience
4. At least 2 years' in a formal Project Management role (essential)

Preference will be given to candidates registered as Project Management Professionals.

Duties & Responsibilities

The person will be responsible for:

1. Budget establishments and control based on projects
2. Compliance to tendering and procurement process
3. Technical solutions regarding maintenance and repairs
4. Reduction of overhead maintenance costs
5. Contractor management

Desired Experience & Qualification

The candidate must have:

1. Grade 12 certificate
2. National Diploma / BTech: Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical Engineering
3. 5-8 years' project management experience
4. At least 2 years' in a formal Project Management role (essential)
5. Knowledge / experience in SAP CMMS (computerised maintenance management system)
6. Experience with MS Projects
