Duties:

• Delving into the details of business operations to pinpoint key controls and potential risks.
• Thoroughly examine the internal control setup, identifying risks, and crafting a robust audit plan for effective control testing.
• Conducting audits with accuracy to uncover control gaps, potential fraud, compliance issues, and deviations from management policies.
• Creating meticulous work papers, computations, and statistical reports to ensure strict adherence to established control procedures, maintaining a comprehensive audit record.
• Using sound judgment and creative problem-solving to suggest practical solutions for identified control issues and inefficiencies.
• Leveraging audit expertise to tackle complex elements, including issues escalated by management, showcasing adept navigation of intricate audit scenarios.
• Applying independent judgment to tailor audit strategies to the unique requirements of each specific audit.

Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:

• Matric (Grade 12)
• BCom Accounting
• CTA
• CA(SA)

Experience:

• Newly Qualified CA(SA) to 1 year post article experience
• Completed articles with a well-recognized audit firm
• Experience in the retail/manufacturing sector is highly desirable.
• NB! Able to travel during the week for at least 25% of the time. Travel to main cities in South Africa.

• Motivated, self-starter, able to work independently and within a team
• Presentable, professional and confident
• Understanding and proficient in MS Office and advanced Excel
• Report writing skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Organizational and analytical skills
