Required for a well-established company based in Fountainbleau.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Buy Smartly
- Preparation of Purchase orders
- Dealing with various suppliers
- Dealing with Bureau Veritas
- SADC certificates
- Dealing with the warehouse and transporters
- Collating the delivery and collection of documents
- Collating of supplier’s tax invoices
- Negotiating discounts and rebates with suppliers
- Negotiating transport rates
- Liaising with the Accountant’s
- Preparation of export tax invoices and necessary export documents
- Building of trucks for your clients
- Handling transport insurance
- Liaising with Clearing Agents
- Liaising with Zimbabwean team
- Maintaining a detailed tracking sheet
- Maintaining client relationships
- Attending to client quotes within 48 hours
This role is specialised as it is not your normal buying position. Candidates must be able to buy smartly for Zimbabwean/Mozambique/Zambian clients who are in mining, farming, or construction industries and in turn be able to handle the cross-border export of the goods.
Desired Experience & Qualifications
Matric
Minimum 5 years relevant experience within a procurement export sales role.
