Ready for an exciting career leap? My client is seeking a Corporate Internal Auditor to revolutionize our processes and mitigate risks in vibrant Cape Town. Reporting to the Head of Internal Audit, you'll drive change, detect inefficiencies, and safeguard our assets.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct comprehensive audits of business processes, identifying areas for improvement.
2. Propose and implement enhancements to internal controls, ensuring effectiveness.
3. Collaborate with management to address audit findings and drive strategic actions.
4. Lead risk management efforts, providing expert advice on threat mitigation strategies.
5. Combat fraud and safeguard organizational assets through rigorous audit procedures.
6. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, staying abreast of changes.
7. Craft clear and compelling audit reports, providing valuable insights and recommendations.
8. Assist in developing the annual risk-based audit plan and contribute to Audit Committee reporting.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Internal Auditing or equivalent.
2. CIA qualification preferred.
3. Minimum 5 years' experience, with exposure to Fintech environments advantageous.
4. Proficiency in internal audit principles, compliance standards, and risk management strategies.
