Sales Manager Position

A well-known tyre retailer is looking to employ a Sales Manager to develop and implement the company’s sales strategy in order to increase revenue and grow market share through attraction of new customers, maintenance and retention of existing customers.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

1. Plan and Organize Resources
2. Manage Store Finances
3. Sell Products/Services & Sales Opportunities
4. Build Customer Relations
5. Administer Reports/Documents
6. Inspect/Test Product & Drive Cars

KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE / SKILLS / BEHAVIOUR REQUIRED:

Knowledge / Experience Required:

1. Grade 12
2. Additional relevant qualification would be an advantage
3. Understand how to operate balancing machines
4. Understand how to operate, install, service, repair, calibrate & test alignment machines
5. Alignment of vehicles (technical adjustments plus interpretation)
6. Knowledge of Alignment (interpretation of vehicle behaviour)
7. Balancing knowledge
8. Fitting and stripping tyre
9. Identifying tyre/rim defects
10. Product knowledge i.e. various suppliers tyres and rims
11. Understanding tyre performance and specifications
12. Wheel and tyre accessories i.e. lock nut systems, nitrogen, rim accessories etc
13. Admin related functions i.e. cash up, invoicing, receiving cash etc
14. Conducting enquiries (i.e. discipline, poor performance)
15. Reviewing performance of employees
