Job description
Key Responsibilities
- Own and prioritise the product backlog for a defined sub-product
- Define clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and definition of done
- Collaborate with feature teams to ensure timely delivery
- Coordinate development, operations, and maintenance activities
- Make release decisions based on product quality and readiness
- Manage stakeholders and align business and technical requirements
- Drive Agile and DevOps best practices
- Oversee incident, problem, and change processes
- Support documentation, compliance, and continuous improvement
- Mentor team members and support capability development
Required Experience & Skills
- Proven experience as a Sub-Product Owner / Proxy Product Owner
- Strong Agile (Scrum/Kanban) experience
- Solid Microsoft Azure knowledge and cloud-native concepts
- Strong Java background and understanding of related architectures
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices
- Strong backlog management and prioritisation skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication
Advantageous
- Azure PaaS (App Services, Functions, AKS), IaC (Terraform, Bicep, ARM)
- Jira or similar tools for backlog and sprint management
- ITSM processes and tools (incident, problem, change, CMDB)
- Monitoring and observability tools (Azure Monitor, Application Insights)
- Experience working across global teams
