Responsibilities
1.Technical Support & Knowledge Management
Act as the primary internal and external technical reference for the foliar and biostimulant portfolio.
Support Sales, Agronomy, and Marketing teams on correct technical positioning, application guidelines, and value proposition implementation.
Lead technical trainings for internal and external steakholders.
Develop and maintain technical materials, guidelines, recommendations, FAQs, and educational content.
2.Market Development Strategy
Contribute to the definition and execution of a market development strategy for the foliar and biostimulant categories.
Support the creation of value propositions, key messages, positioning by crop segment, and recommended use protocols.
Analyze market segmentation, crop opportunities, and potential for portfolio expansion.
Conduct competitive intelligence: active ingredients, positioning, pricing, value proposition, risks, opportunities, and market gaps.
3. Research, Development & Product Registration
Support, design, coordinate, and monitor research trials, including:
- product registration studies,
performance validation trials,
competitive benchmarking,
data generation to support technical positioning.
Ensure methodological quality, traceability, protocol consistency, and timely report delivery.
Support the Portfolio team in new product introduction, lifecycle management, and innovation projects.
4. Targeted Commercial Support
Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to plan and execute demand generation initiatives.
Manage a selected portfolio of strategic customers to:
- present trial results,
reinforce product value,
support buying decisions,
foster loyalty and business continuity.
Provide insights and technical/commercial feedback to strengthen strategy and execution.
Support discussions on pricing and market potential based on technical data.
5. Communication, Engagement & External Relations
Co-develop communication materials including presentations, campaigns, brochures, videos, and technical bulletins.
Build relationships with key influencers, research partners, consultants, and sector institutions.
Participate in conferences, field days, training sessions, and external events as a technical ambassador.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelors Degree in Agronomy
Postgraduate degree would be an added advantage
Minimum 3 years experience in the Foliar Fertilizer and/or Biostimulants or Crop Protection sector market
Minimum 3 years of experience in Market Development of biostimulant, foliars, fertilizers and crop protection
Minimum 3 years of experience in Technical Support, Agronomy, or related areas.
Experience conducting field trials, protocols, or research studies.
Ability to interpret data and translate results into practical recommendations.
Experience in maize, wheat, soybean and potato is an added advantage
Willingness to travel extensively
