Are you a highly organized professional with a foot in both Sales Administration and Warehouse Logistics? A leading Speciality Chemicals distributor is seeking a dynamic Senior Administrator to join their Cape Town team in a newly created role.

As the "right hand" to the Coastal Warehouse and Logistics Manager, you will bridge the gap between sales and supply chain, ensuring customers in the Cape Town, PE, and George regions receive seamless service.

Key Responsibilities

• Sales Support: Act as the primary liaison between the sales force and the supply chain, processing orders, generating quotes, and managing customer queries.
• Inventory & Stock Control: Assist with stock forecasting, month-end stock counts, and reporting on slow-moving or expiring stock.
• Logistics Coordination: Plan regional delivery routes, oversee the dispatch process, and manage POD reconciliations and driver trip sheets.
• Warehouse Oversight: Ensure the facility is maintained to safety standards, manage product life cycles (FIFO), and conduct at least three full stock takes per year.
• Financial Admin: Handle petty cash reconciliations, manage the Geotank register, and process credit notes and supply chain transfers.

What We Are Looking For

• Education: Grade 12 or equivalent is essential. A qualification in Supply Chain or Logistics is a plus.
• Experience: At least 35 years of experience in Sales Administration (processing invoices, GRVs, credit notes) and Warehouse Administration (route planning, stock counts).
• Seniority: Minimum 2 years in a senior/coordinating role.
• Tech Savvy: Strong MS Excel skills are required. Syspro experience is highly beneficial.
• Logistics: Must have a valid drivers license and be willing to travel to PE and George if required.
• Attributes: A professional communicator who can handle pressurized environments and adhere to strict deadlines.
• Flexibility: Must be able to work extended hours during stock takes and month-end.
