Operations Specialist - Investment Industry

Hire Resolve’s client in the Investment Industry is urgently seeking a highly skilled Operations Specialist to join their team in Cape Town.

Responsibilities

• Position within the operations team, principally as an operations specialist.
• The Purpose of this role is to contribute to and promote robust operating procedures across the investment management business to create an efficient, responsive and process driven operations team.
• Assist with investment reporting and analysis.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize operational processes.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes.
• Provide support to the investment team in various ad‑hoc tasks as required.

Requirements

• Appropriate finance qualification: Chartered Accountant. Specialist qualification in financial services would be advantageous.
• Self‑driven with at least 2‑5 years working in operations in the financial services industry (preferably in fund management).
• Experience with reconciliations and cash management essential.
• Strong communicator and team player.
• Relevant computer skills and systems experience, including advanced Excel skills. Experience in a programming language would be advantageous but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large sets of data.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
