Job description
Overview
Our client in the Firearms and Outdoor industry is looking for an Admin/Floor Manager.
Key responsibilities
- Successfully manage staff/customer enquiries
- Adhere to all sales/safe procedures and knowledge of safe admin will be beneficial
- Regular reporting and feedback to store manager
- Daily floor walks
- Daily backorder checks
- Monthly Non-Stock Backorder investigation
- Daily managing tasks on wanderlust and ensuring all daily duties are conducted timeously
Behavioral Competencies
- Proven sales track record
- Balanced and mature behavioral profile
- Energetic/self-motivated and goal oriented
- Ability to work under pressure and put in extra efforts to meet tight deadlines
- Strong customer orientation skills, and trading mentality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication ability
- Ability to identify and resolve problems timeously and accurately
- Managing the team by example and leading from the front.
Requirements
- Solid Experience in sales management of retail stores.
- Matric
- Competency to trade in firearms and ammunition
- Good knowledge of excel and Microsoft office in general
- Knowledge of investigating stock movement, hazard counts as well as stock takes will be beneficial.
- Experience in Labour scheduling and staff scheduling
- Sound Knowledge of the hunting and sport shooting industry
