Senior Business Intelligence Architect Johannesburg North

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Intelligence Architect to join their Information Technology team. As a Senior BI Architect, you will collaborate with IT teams and business stakeholders to analyze, design, develop, test, and support enterprise-level Business Intelligence solutions, with a specific focus on data modelling using ZAP BI.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Take primary accountability for the ZAP tool, ensuring security vulnerabilities are monitored and corrected.
• Research and analyze IT issues related to Business Intelligence (BI).
• Gather requirements, design, and develop new reports and enhancements.
• Implement and maintain reports and supporting data.
• Design, build, and maintain data and integration architectures.
• Create and maintain documentation on BI solutions.
• Initiate BI training programs for internal business groups.
• Utilize data warehousing concepts.

Qualifications and Experience

• Relevant Degree in Computer Science Engineering, BSc in Computer Science, or related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in Business Intelligence architecture.

Skills Required

• Ability to manage tight deadlines.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Systems thinking.

Knowledge

• Experience with ZAP Tool, SQL Server, SSIS, Microsoft OLAP solutions, and Azure database platform.
• Familiarity with Project-Based ERP systems and Azure Data Lake.
