Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Lab Technician to support our technical team in performing various laboratory tasks, ensuring accurate and efficient results. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of lab procedures, equipment maintenance, and safety protocols, with a strong desire to learn and grow in a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct laboratory tests and experiments under the supervision of senior technicians or management.
• Prepare and maintain lab equipment and instruments, ensuring they are calibrated and functioning correctly.
• Record and analyze data from experiments, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Assist in the preparation of samples, chemicals, and other materials required for testing.
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Assist with the maintenance and organization of laboratory supplies and inventories.
• Prepare reports and documentation based on test results and observations.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues in the lab.
• Perform general laboratory housekeeping duties to ensure cleanliness and orderliness.

Qualifications:

• A maximum of 3 years of experience working as a Lab Technician or in a related field.
• A degree or diploma in Laboratory Technology, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of lab procedures, safety protocols, and equipment.
• Proficiency in using laboratory instruments and conducting tests.
• Ability to accurately record and analyze data.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with laboratory equipment such as spectrometers, microscopes, and centrifuges.
• Familiarity with lab management software or data analysis tools.
• Ability to handle hazardous materials safely.
• Knowledge of quality control procedures and standards.
