Junior Financial Accountant

We offer an exciting position to a Junior Financial Accountant.

Requirements:

1. Must be fully proficient in English and Afrikaans.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform accounting functions in accordance with company policies and relevant accounting standards.
2. Manage and maintain financial accounts for the company, including the necessary reconciliations on a monthly basis.
3. Compile the monthly management accounts as well as monthly statements for the company.
4. Produce accurate tax and VAT returns and manage tax affairs of the company.
5. Manage the internal and external auditors.
6. Petty cash management.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

1. Minimum 3 to 4 years experience.
2. Interpersonal and communication skills (written and spoken).
3. Possesses exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
4. Advanced level of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
5. Ability to work well within a team and meet deadlines.
6. Self-reliant, flexible, energetic and confident.
