Credit Data Analyst

Client is looking for an experienced Credit Data Analyst who:

• has strong data analytics capabilities,
• pays attention to detail,
• delivers work of a high quality,
• can process, manipulate, and transform large volumes of data (1 million+),
• performs extensive analysis on data and produces summary results in a visual format to ultimately tell a story using data. The successful individual needs to be a team player who works alongside others to identify and contribute to initiatives leading to company success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Measure and manage the performance across multiple credit products.
• Evaluate and improve business decisions, substantiated by data-driven analyses.
• Create credit strategies.
• Run and improve forecasting simulations.
• Report back to management around the credit risk status of the business.

Requirements:

Qualification: Mathematical/statistical background e.g. B.Sc. Mathematics/Statistics/Actuarial Science/B.Engineering.

Experience:

• 5+ years in data analysis/modeling (not only using Excel but other tools including SQL/SAS): need to be able to work with millions of rows.
• Strategic thinking.
• Data analysis.
• Creative problem-solving ability.
• Ability to transform raw data into a simplistic, easy-to-understand story.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and executives.
• Ability and attitude to get things done.
• Be flexible to changing business needs and priorities.
• Self-driven: motivated and able to work on their own.

This role will present the successful individual with both local and international exposure. International travel may be required from time to time.
