Accountant (Temp)

Job & Company Description:

This company in the heart of Sandton is urgently looking for an Accountant to join their tech-savvy and diverse finance team on a six-month contract basis.

This role will require an individual with a passion for accounting practices, economic principles, applicable laws, codes and regulations, and auditing practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monthly management reports
• Drafting of financials on Draftworx
• Converting financials from Caseware to Draftworx
• Income tax
• Team leadership

As you will be required to hit the ground running, extensive experience is essential.

Requirements:

Qualification:

• BCom Finance Degree (non-negotiable)

Experience:

• 2+ years accounting experience
• Knowledge of accepted accounting practices and principles
• Excellent knowledge of Caseware and Draftworx (non-negotiable)

Skills Required:

• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Excellent collaborative skills
• Ownership and accountability
