Reporting to: Creative & Corporate Identity Team Lead
The Senior Multimedia Designer plays a key role in delivering high‑quality, on‑brand visual communication across digital and print platforms for Betway Africa. This is a hands‑on senior role focused on creative excellence, conceptual thinking, and executional craft, while also providing guidance and support to junior and mid‑level designers. The role contributes to campaign delivery across African markets, ensuring work is visually compelling, compliant, and aligned with brand standards.

Responsibilities
Design & Execution
- Deliver digital and print design across platforms and channels
- Create visually engaging, brand‑aligned designs that meet business and customer needs
- Interpret creative briefs and execute work from concept through rollout
- Ensure all outputs are accurate, media‑specific, compliant, and highly crafted
- Adapt designs quickly to meet urgent business requirements and changing priorities
Conceptualisation & Creative Thinking
- Contribute to through‑the‑line conceptual thinking and ideation
- Develop fresh, original ideas and proactive creative solutions
- Apply a strong understanding of platform, audience, and context in execution
- Support campaign execution through strong layout, visual hierarchy, and design thinking
- Work closely with Copywriters and cross‑functional teams to develop campaigns
- Provide guidance and informal mentorship to junior and mid‑level designers
- Share best practices, trends, and inspiration with the wider creative team
- Act as a positive role model through professionalism, collaboration, and accountability
Quality & Process
- Maintain high standards of quality, consistency, and attention to detail
- Ensure best practice in file setup, asset management, and version control
- Adhere to studio processes and brand guidelines across all work
Qualifications
- 5–6+ years’ experience in graphic or multimedia design
- A relevant Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design or Design Communication
- Strong portfolio demonstrating digital and print design excellence
- Advanced proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, PowerPoint, and MS Office
- Excellent time management and the ability to manage multiple projects
- Strong visual judgement, attention to detail, and pride in craftsmanship
- Clear, confident communication and a collaborative mindset
- Ability to guide and support others without formal people‑management responsibility
Nice to have
- iGaming, sports betting, or regulated‑industry experience
- Knowledge of platform best practices and UI principles
- Experience with After Effects or motion design tools
- Understanding of compliance requirements in regulated markets
