Cost Accountant Required in the FMCG Sector

Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Perform cost analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs, including raw materials, labor, and overhead expenses.
• Prepare and maintain accurate product costing models.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
• Conduct variance analysis and investigate discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to cost accounting.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory valuation and reconciliation.
• Prepare and present financial reports to management.

Package & Remuneration

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Commerce (B Com) degree in accounting or finance.
• Proven experience as a Cost Accountant or similar role.
• Proficiency in using ERP systems, preferably [insert specific ERP system if applicable].
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including V Lookup functions.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
