Finance Manager Opportunity

Key Responsibilities:

1. Interpretation of Financial Results: Analyze and interpret the company's financial performance, providing insightful recommendations for improvement to management.
2. Process Optimization: Identify and address bottlenecks within the company to enhance overall efficiency and throughput.
3. Working Capital Management: Oversee working capital facilities with a focus on creditors and inventory management.
4. Financial Compliance: Ensure adherence to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and maintain accuracy and completeness of trial balance month on month.
5. Financial Reporting: Assist with the preparation of annual financial statements, monthly management accounts, and Board of Directors packs.
6. Team Management: Lead and manage the accounts payable team, setting and reviewing annual KPIs for reporting staff.
7. Asset Management: Maintain fixed and tax asset registers, conducting annual impairment tests and reconciliations.
8. Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis and reviews, identifying cost reduction opportunities and preparing ad hoc reports as required.
9. Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with banks, suppliers, team members, and external auditors.

Qualifications and Experience Needed:

1. BCom Accounting or Finance related
2. Completed CIMA (non-negotiable)
3. Completed SAICA Articles
4. 4 years' experience as a Finance Manager
5. Strong knowledge of IFRS and reporting
