Our client based in Wetton is looking for a Financial Manager who is a registered CA with 5 years post article experience to join their team.

Duties & Responsibilities

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Permanent
SECTOR: Finance
BASIC SALARY: R65 000
START DATE: June / July 2024

Requirements:

• Must be a registered Chartered Accountant
• Bachelor's degree in accounting / Honor's degree preferred
• Completion of Articles
• 5 years post article experience
• Registration with accredited statutory body and association
• Experience in providing financial advice
• Buildsmart Experience Advantageous
• Construction Experience Advantageous

Duties:

• Producing and Managing budgets
• Undertaking financial audits
• Providing financial advice
• Liaising with business directors & senior management on company strategy
• Analysing risk
• Advising on tax planning
• Maintaining accounting records and preparing accounts information
• Counselling on areas of financial improvement for all companies
• Liaising with auditors (internal or external)
• Producing reports and recommendations following the audits
• Preparing monthly accounts and follow up variances
• Managing the invoicing process
• Managing and overseeing the duties of the accounting team
• Reviewing accounting systems and processes to ensure efficiency
• Review and release online banking payments
• Ensure compliance with SARS
• Provide ongoing accounting and reporting support
• Manage the full financial process

Hours:

• Mon – Fri: 08:00 – 17:00
