Job descriptionNational Senior Certificate (Matric). Minimum 3 years experience as a Storeman in a Metal or Engineering environment. Forklift licence Essential Stacking and Storage Course / Certification 25 tons Overhead Crane Licence advantageous Knowledge of tools, fittings, and materials used in engineering and fabrication. Duties & Responsibilities
- Receive, store, and issue materials, tools, and equipment in accordance with company procedures.
- Maintain accurate stock records and perform regular inventory checks.
- Ensure proper labelling, identification, and storage of materials.
- Load and offload materials safely and efficiently.
- Prepare stock requisitions and update stock cards or ERP system.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized store area.
- Report shortages, damaged stock, or discrepancies to management.
- Adhere to all safety and housekeeping standards within the workshop and store areas.
