Construction Manager (PrCM)

Our client, a large EPC within the renewable energy sector, is currently looking for a Construction Manager (PrCM) to add to their team for a very exciting project.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management.
• Registered as a Professional Construction Manager through SACPCMP.
• Proven track record of successful construction management experience, overseeing diverse projects of varying scales.
• Strong understanding of substations and overhead transmission lines.
• 5 years of experience as a Construction Manager.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve project goals.
• Proficient in project management software and other relevant tools.
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a focus on quality.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders, including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers, to develop comprehensive project plans and timelines.
• Manage all aspects of construction, from pre-construction planning to project completion and handover.
• Supervise and coordinate on-site construction teams, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and adherence to project specifications.
• Monitor project progress and implement necessary adjustments to keep projects on track and within budget.
• Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on project status, risks, and opportunities.
