HR Manager

We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Manager to lead and manage all human resources functions within the organization. This is a remote role; however, the successful candidate must be based in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving HR strategy, enhancing employee engagement, and ensuring compliance with South African labour legislation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives
• Manage the full recruitment and onboarding process
• Handle employee relations, including disciplinary processes and conflict resolution
• Ensure compliance with South African labour laws and company policies
• Drive performance management, including reviews and KPI tracking
• Implement training and development initiatives
• Oversee compensation, benefits, and payroll coordination
• Monitor employee engagement and retention strategies
• Maintain accurate HR records and reporting
• Provide guidance to leadership on HR best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• 5–10 years’ HR experience, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role
• Strong knowledge of South African labour legislation
• Proven experience across recruitment, employee relations, and performance management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities
• High level of confidentiality and professionalism
• Salary: R30,000 – R40,000 CTC per month
• Work Model: Fully Remote
• Location Requirement: Must be based in Johannesburg
