Job Title: Interior Decorator
Location: Polokwane
Salary: R15 000 – R18 000
Job Duties:
- Meet with clients to understand their preferences, needs, and budgets
- Develop design concepts and themes for interior spaces
- Select colour schemes, furniture, textiles, lighting, artwork, and accessories
- Source and purchase décor items, furnishings, and materials
- Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and other professionals involved in projects
- Arrange and style interior spaces to achieve the desired look and feel
- Stay updated with industry trends, products, and innovations
- Manage project timelines and budgets to ensure timely completion
- Handle multiple projects while maintaining high quality standards
Requirements:
- Formal qualification in Interior Decorating or related field
- Proven experience as an Interior Decorator with a strong portfolio of completed projects
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong sense of style, colour, and spatial relationships
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Creativity and artistic ability
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge of current interior design trends and materials
- Ability to work within budgets and meet deadlines
- Experience with design software such as AutoCAD and SketchUp advantageous
