Introduction
Our client, a supplier of hard-wearing and high-strength structural steel, is looking for a dynamic Sales Representative to resell quenched and tempered steel in full plate in the form of cut to size, bending, etc.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 / Equivalent
Experience and Requirements:
- 10 years trading of quenched and tempered steel is essential (hard-wearing plate and high-strength structural steel)
- Bilingual in English and Afrikaans
- Able to read and understand a technical drawing
- Promoting of quenched and tempered steel products within South Africa and Africa
- Driver’s license and a reliable vehicle as the company offers a travel allowance
- Able to work independently, close deals, and cold call for new business
- Have a stable work record and contactable references
- Technically minded
- Able to meet and exceed sales targets
- Come from a Mining Industry
