Fleet Manager

Responsibilities

• Ensure the continuous good state-of-repair of the company
• Compile, implement and update the Fleet Register and Maintenance Plan for the entire fleet on an ongoing basis.
• Effective planning to ensure that the Fleet always delivers upon the fleet requirements of the company
• Efficient liaison with servicing agents and suppliers to ensure seamless servicing, fitment and modification processes (this includes collection and service quality checks)
• Ensuring that vehicles are duly licensed prior to the renewal date.
• Tracking mileage and fuel consumption to ensure optimum economy and to enable early detection of mechanical problems that may develop between services.
• Implementing an effective system of rotation, purchasing and sales for the fleet

Additional Duties

• You will uphold and enforce the Code of Conduct of the Company and will play a managerial role in maintaining an ethical, disciplined, and responsible workforce within the senior leadership team (all medical and technical staff).
• On occasion, if required, you will perform the duties of an Intermediate Life Support practitioner within the EMS operation of the company
