Duties & Responsibilities

Are you ready to take charge of your career and join a dynamic team? My client is currently seeking a dedicated Debtors Controller to join their esteemed company. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you! This position is based in Johannesburg North.

• Matching of Statements: Ensure all transactions on credit card statements are supported by complete documentation, maintaining accuracy and compliance at all times.
• Audit Backup Documents: Uphold a 100% accuracy standard in verifying and validating all attached documents.
• Swiping: Prepare Swipe sheets for Supervisor transactions, ensuring completeness of invoices.
• Customer Satisfaction: Foster positive relationships with both Internal and External Clients, demonstrating professionalism in all interactions.
• Matching: Monitor and execute the matching process of documents to Credit card and Debtor statements, meeting deadlines and presenting documents in a client-friendly manner.
• Reconciliations: Allocate payments accurately against invoices and diligently investigate all unallocated receipts and journals, identifying documentation numbers for reference.

Job Experience and Skills Required

• Completed Matric
• Completed Finance related qualification
• Minimum of 5 to 6 years’ experience in a similar position
• Knowledge of Basic Accounting principles

Package & Remuneration

R 250 000 - R 280 000 - Annually
