Actuarial Systems Specialist
A leading Insurance Company is looking for anActuarial Systems Specialistto join the team based in Johannesburg.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of both the products and systems from an actuarial perspective. You will also be responsible for maintaining optimal system accuracy and performance from a functionality and values perspective.
Key Responsibilities:
- ProvideprofessionalinputandsupporttotheGroup.
- Supportmodeldevelopmentandanalysisacrossanumberofactuarialinitiativesthatimpact functionssuchasliabilityandcapitalvaluations,embeddedvalueandbusinessplanning.
- Modifydataprocesses(DCSorSQL)tomaintainsystemintegrationswithmodelchanges.
- Oversee and controlling of thesystemsenvironment.
- Enhancementofcontrolenvironment
- GiveValuationsystemsupporttovariousstakeholders.
- DevelopmentandtestingofnewproductsintheActuarialsystem

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in actuarial sciences (Essential)
- Good Knowledge of Legislation – LTIA
- Knowledgeable on the ASSA Code of Conduct
- Minimum 3 Years of Actuarial Experience in Systems
- Expert in Data and Model Management
- Life Insurance Experience
- IFRS17 Knowledge (Highly Beneficial)
- All A100 – A200 series technical Exams to be completed (Essential)
