Our client in Pinelands who specializes in Investment and Wealth Management is looking for a professional Medical Aid Advisor to provide excellent customer service and Medical Aid advice.
Duties & Responsibilities
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Permanent
SECTOR: Finance / Insurance
BASIC SALARY: Neg
START DATE: A.S.A.P / Immediate
Requirements:
- Matric
- 3 years’ experience in Insurance Industry
- RE5 Exam / Business related study or degree
- Knowledge of Medical Aid and GAP cover
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements as well as compliance with FAIS and FICA legislation
- Knowledge of PPS and Momentum
- Discovery Health knowledge and experience (advantageous)
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong time management skills
- Champions client and customer focus
Duties:
- Service all medical aid clients by reviewing plans and consulting with clients
- Prepare communication to clients regarding medical aid updates and value add options as and when required
- Research 3 Medical Aid options for clients and create presentations, including the costs and benefits
- Research Gap cover options and document summary of information for internal and external use
- Comply with company procedures to support compliance with the FAIS and FICA acts and other relevant legislation
- Facilitate client transfers
- Record of advice, prepare and submit for sign off
Hours:
- Monday – Friday 08:00 – 17:00
