Data Analyst

Job Description

• Responsible for collecting, analysing, interpreting, and reporting on data to support the development of the UAW front end. This role requires expertise in handling large, complex datasets and designing robust analytical processes. In addition to product and process data, the role may involve leveraging multiple internal and external data sources.

MAIN ACTIVITIES OF THE JOB

Data Architecture & Engineering

• Oversee data collection frameworks and ensure alignment with enterprise data architecture.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain data quality, integrity, and accuracy.
• Design and develop data pipelines to enable efficient movement of data from source systems to processing and analytics platforms.

Data Collection & Analysis

• Extract, collate, and analyse data from various internal and external sources using established tools, methods, and formats.
• Work independently to deliver reliable and timely data outputs.
• Create custom data extracts, mappings, and transformations to meet business requirements.

Data Governance & Quality

• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to establish and enforce governance practices for product and policy data.
• Maintain data dictionaries and ensure consistent definitions and data standards across systems.
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and reliability for reporting and analytics

Data Exploration & Manipulation

• Perform descriptive and exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Conduct research and select relevant data to support hypothesis testing and experimental analysis.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives by integrating and preparing datasets for cross-functional analysis.
