You did not build your accounting career to simply capture data. You developed strong analytical skills gained exposure to reporting controls and operational finance and understand how accurate accounting supports business performance and decisionmaking.

Now is the time to step into an Accountant role where ownership accountability and visibility matter.

We are recruiting a Branch Accountant to join an established business based in Cape Town. This role supports the Finance Director and branch management team and plays a key part in daytoday financial control and reporting.

Step Into a HandsOn Accounting Role: This is a practical operational accounting role suited to a detaildriven professional who is confident managing core finance functions monitoring costs and supporting business activities across projects and operations.

Accuracy strong Excel skills and the ability to work under pressure are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Branch financial reporting including balance sheet reconciliations cash flow reporting and creditors management
  • Daily banking invoice capturing reconciliations and supplier account maintenance
  • Cost control support including allocation of labour and consumables to projects and monitoring budgets
  • Project and job tracking from quotation through to completion including GP and sales reporting
  • General finance and administrative support to branch and operational teams

Who Should Apply:
  • Relevant qualification in Accounting or Finance
  • Proven experience in an Accountant or similar finance role
  • Strong Excel skills and experience using accounting software (Sage / Pastel advantageous)
  • High attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure
  • Professional reliable and able to work independently while supporting multiple stakeholders
