The Role: General Foreman (Multi Storey Concrete Structures) The purpose of this role is to lead projects seamlessly from foundation layout through to final key handover. The role contributes to the business by managing structural execution for multi-storey concrete structures, coordinating site resources, and driving performance across the workforce. The main focus areas include technical oversight, trade coordination, site planning, team leadership, and enforcing safety and quality control.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead projects seamlessly from foundation layout through to final key handover, utilizing 10+ years of experience in commercial/high-rise construction.

• Manage structural execution for multi-storey concrete structures, including precise setting out and vertical controls for high-rise buildings.

• Demonstrate complete mastery of all wet trades alongside a solid general understanding of specialist trades (Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, etc.).

• Coordinate on-site plant and equipment.

• Compile short-term programs to keep the project strictly aligned with the master construction schedule.

• Maintain exceptional communication and drive performance across foremen, subcontractors, and the labour force.

• Enforce strict quality control standards.

• Monitor on-site compliance in accordance with the OHS Act and company safety policies.

About You

• 10+ years of experience in commercial/high-rise construction.

• Professional fluency in English and Afrikaans.

• Post-Matric industry qualifications, certificates, or NQF-related building/construction training (highly advantageous).

• Additional indigenous languages proficiency (plus).
