The Role: Junior/ Intermediate Quantity Surveyor The purpose of this role is to conduct site-based quantity surveying duties. The role exists to measure and valuate work, calculate quantities from drawings, and assist the Senior Quantity Surveyor with measuring completed works for interim monthly valuations and sub-contractor payments.
Key Responsibilities
Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in quantity surveying.
Calculate quantities from architects and engineers drawings.
Measure work in progress on site.
Assist Senior QS with measuring of completed works for interim monthly valuations.
Assist Senior QS with sub-contractor payments.
Utilize general knowledge of the JBCC Contracts.
Apply computer literacy in CANDY and EXCEL.
Communicate with professional fluency in English and Afrikaans.
About You
Minimum of 3 Years Experience
Site-based availability in Johannesburg/Pretoria
General Knowledge of the JBCC Contracts
Computer Literate in CANDY and EXCEL
Professional fluency in English and Afrikaans
Knowledge of additional indigenous languages is a plus
