Triz Engineering Solutions is looking for a General Engineering Manager – India to lead and build our Bangalore operation into a high-performing engineering hub within our global business

We specialize in end-to-end engineering for medium- and heavy-duty platforms, from concept and feasibility through productionization and compliance. Our expertise spans zero-emission (battery electric, fuel cell), hybrid, and conventional powertrains, as well as advanced vehicle technologies including ADAS, autonomy, and connectivity.

Our work focuses on high-integration, high-value systems for applications such as delivery, bus, motorhome, refuse, off-highway, and other vocational markets. Triz delivers launch-ready, validated solutions that help OEMs move from plan to product with speed, certainty, and zero surprises.

Job Title: General Engineering Manager - Design Engineering Company

Location: Bangalore, India (with international travel)

Position Type: Full-time

The Role

This is a full leadership role with P&L ownership, responsible for the overall performance, delivery, and growth of our India operations.

You’ll lead a multidisciplinary team, drive operational efficiency, and ensure alignment with global standards, while building a culture of accountability and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Business & Operations

• Take full accountability for India operations performance
• Lead day-to-day delivery in line with global objectives
• Continuously improve systems, processes, and efficiency
• Own and manage the India P&L
• Drive budgets, forecasts, and cost control
• Improve margins and overall financial performance
• Build and lead a strong, capable team
• Oversee recruitment aligned to growth
• Drive performance, accountability, and succession planning
• Embed Triz culture and standards

Delivery & Resource Planning

• Ensure effective resource allocation across projects
• Support global delivery timelines and quality standards
• Identify and resolve delivery constraints
• Integrate India teams into global structures

Governance & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with local laws and company policies
• Manage operational, legal, and contractual risk
• Maintain governance and reporting structures

Strategic Growth

• Support global growth initiatives
• Build India as a scalable engineering hub
• Enable delivery capability for business development

What We’re Looking For:

Experience

• 5–10 years in a senior leadership / GM role
• Background in engineering, automotive, or related industries
• Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams
• Strong financial management with full P&L accountability
• Experience in global or multi-country environments

Qualifications

• MBA or similar (advantageous)
