Senior MI Analyst

Our client, a leading Financial Service Provider (FSP), is looking for a Senior MI Analyst to join their high-performing team in Sandton. This role is designed for a specialist who thrives on driving organizational strategy through advanced data analytics, trend interpretation, and operational optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Insights: Lead the execution of complex reports and identify hidden patterns to guide informed, high-level decision-making.

Operational Oversight: Take full ownership of all Management Information (MI) reporting across the organization.

Data Optimization: Conduct rigorous trend analysis on historical and real-time data to predict and implement future efficiencies.

Stakeholder Management: Develop and manage critical relationships with internal and external partners to ensure data alignment and reporting accuracy.

Data Governance: Approve data specifications and manage key elements of the data management system to preserve data integrity and security.

Requirements:

Education: A Bachelors Degree in Statistics, Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related Data Analytics field is essential.

Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in a Data Analytics and Optimization environment using modern statistical tools and packages.

Industry Knowledge: 23 years of experience within the Financial Services sector is highly advantageous.

Technical Mastery: Comprehensive knowledge of analytical processes and the ability to operate independently within a complex, fast-paced environment.
