Senior Interior Designer – Multi‑Sector

Location: Durban

Salary: R28 000 - R45 000 CTC (DOE)

We are seeking a creative leader with strong design expertise & project management with 7-10 years of experience. as a Senior Interior Designer to lead high-end projects across luxury residential, retail, hospitality, and corporate interiors. This role requires a creative leader with strong design expertise and project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from concept to completion
• Develop and present design concepts, mood boards, and material palettes
• Oversee space planning, layouts, FF&E, and finishes selection
• Produce and review 2D drawings, 3D models, and renderings
• Manage clients, suppliers, contractors, and project timelines
• Mentor junior and intermediate designers
• Conduct site visits, installations, and quality inspections

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Interior Design / Interior Architecture
• 7-10 years’ experience across multiple sectors
• Expert in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and 3D rendering software
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong project management, client engagement, and team leadership skills
• Multi-sector experience (luxury residential, retail, hospitality, corporate)
• Knowledge of building regulations and compliance
• Valid driver’s license
