We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join a major project within the medical/healthcare sector. The successful candidate will play a critical role in delivering advanced data science solutions, analytics, and machine learning capabilities within a cloud-based environment.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Data Scientist with strong Azure cloud expertise, particularly within Azure Databricks, who can contribute immediately to a fast-paced and technically driven project environment.

The individual must be available to onboard within the next 2 weeks.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy advanced data science and machine learning solutions
• Work with large, complex healthcare and medical datasets
• Build and optimize data pipelines and analytical models within Azure Databricks
• Perform data cleansing, transformation, feature engineering, and predictive analytics
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project managers to define data-driven solutions
• Develop dashboards, reporting models, and actionable insights for business decision-making
• Ensure data governance, quality, and compliance within the medical sector environment
• Contribute to AI/ML model deployment and monitoring processes
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across analytics and cloud platforms
• Proven experience as a Senior Data Scientist
• Strong hands‑on expertise with Azure Databricks (essential)
• Advanced experience with:
  • Python
  • SQL
  • Machine Learning frameworks
  • Data modelling and analytics
• Experience working within Azure cloud environments
• Strong understanding of data engineering and big data concepts
• Ability to work independently within a hybrid project environment
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
• Experience within the healthcare or medical sector will be advantageous
