Technical Sales Executive and Account Manager

NEW OPPORTUNITY | TECHNICAL SALES / ACCOUNT MANAGER | Location: Durban

CJ Staffing is currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity with a global leader specialising in innovative ingredient solutions for the bakery and milling industry.

Salary: R45 000 – R50 000 CTC + Commission + Fuel + Medical Aid + Pension

Travel: South Africa & Southern African regions (Namibia, Botswana, Zambia etc.)

We are looking for a driven, technically minded Sales/Account Manager with strong communication skills and a passion for business development.

Ideal Background

• Matric
• Relevant tertiary education in Consumer Science, Food Technology, Food Science, Baking, Milling, or related fields would be highly advantageous.
• Experience within the baking, milling, ingredients, or food manufacturing industry
• Previous exposure to technical ingredients, flour improvers, premixes, or related products
• Sales, Key Account Management, or Business Development experience
• Formulation/recipe development experience advantageous
• Strong relationship‑building and communication skills
• Go‑getter attitude with a hunger for sales and growth
• Must be Durban‑based or willing to relocate

Key Responsibilities

• Managing and growing existing accounts
• New business development and lead generation
• Presenting technical solutions/products to clients
• Working closely with customers and the Managing Director
• Developing strategies to grow market share and margins
• Regular travel to clients across SA and neighbouring countries
