Site Engineer (Renewable Energy) - Construction Industry

RPO Recruitment’s client, a reputable construction company is seeking to appoint a qualified and experienced Site Engineer for a major solar farm project based in Klerksdorp.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated engineering professional with renewable energy project exposure to join a dynamic project team on a large-scale renewable energy development.

Key Responsibilities

• Site supervision and coordination of construction activities
• Monitoring construction progress, quality, and safety compliance
• Managing subcontractors and site resources
• Reviewing drawings and technical documentation
• Assisting with planning, reporting, and project coordination
• Ensuring works are completed according to specifications and programme requirements

Requirements

• BSc or BEng Degree in Civil Engineering
• Previous experience working on renewable energy projects is essential, specifically solar farm projects
• Proven site engineering and construction supervision experience
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, quality control, and site coordination
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary project environment
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
