Requirements
- Perform a full range of reconstructive and cosmetic plastic surgery procedures.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, consultations, and preoperative evaluations.
- Develop individualised surgical plans based on patient needs and clinical findings.
- Provide postoperative care, follow-up assessments, and complication management.
- Collaborate closely with anaesthesiologists, dermatologists, orthopaedists, and other specialists.
- Utilize advanced surgical tools and minimally invasive techniques where appropriate.
- Ensure accurate medical documentation and compliance with clinical guidelines.
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and patient safety programs.
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on evolving surgical innovations.
- Provide mentorship or guidance to junior medical staff when required.
Qualifications
- MD / MS / MCh or equivalent specialisation in Plastic Surgery from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 3–5 years of post-specialization clinical experience.
- Valid medical license to practice (or eligibility for licensing) in the Caribbean region.
- Proven expertise in both reconstructive and cosmetic surgical procedures.
