Based out of Stellenbosch, this role offers the perfect mix of technical challenge, site work, and travel. What Youll Do:

As a Service Technician, you will be the face of the company on-site, ensuring systems run flawlessly and clients receive top-tier service. Your day-to-day will include:

• Installation & Maintenance: Install, maintain, and service various water filtration systems (including membranes, pumps, bag filters, motors, etc.).
• Pipe Fitting: Carry out precise pipe fitting and plumbing work on-site.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair mechanical and system equipment quickly and efficiently.
• Plant Care: Conduct site inspections, safe chemical handling, and routine plant maintenance.
• On-the-Road Service: Travel across key regions including Port Elizabeth, Uitenhage, Kirkwood, Plettenberg Bay, and Cape Town as required.
• Client Relations: Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, team members, and support staff to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

• Education: Matric Certificate.

· Valid Code 8 Drivers License (Essential)

• Experience: Solid plumbing or pipe fitting experience is essential.
• Language: Fluent in both English and Afrikaans (critical for client communication).
• Compliance: A clear criminal record and a valid Code 8 driver's license.
• Mobility: Full willingness to travel regularly across the designated regions.

Highly Advantageous & Bonus Skills:

• A technical qualification in Plumbing, Fitting, Electrical, or Mechanical engineering.
• Prior experience specifically working with water filtration systems.
• Basic electrical knowledge or experience with borehole systems.
