Overview

A well‑established company based in Germiston is seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to oversee daily warehouse, dispatch, and operational activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the warehouse team, ensuring efficient stock control and dispatch operations, maintaining high customer service levels, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and develop warehouse and operations staff
• Plan and manage daily warehouse, dispatch, and delivery operations
• Ensure accurate picking, packing, stock control, and inventory management
• Coordinate deliveries and ensure customer requirements are met timeously
• Manage delivery documentation, trip logs, delivery notes, and dispatch records
• Maintain accurate stock transactions and updates on SAP/ERP systems
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, delivery issues, and customer complaints
• Monitor driver, route, and vehicle productivity
• Provide after‑hours support for breakdowns and urgent customer requirements
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, housekeeping, and operational procedures
• Oversee fleet, workshop, and basic building maintenance

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric
• 2–3 years’ warehouse or operations supervisory experience
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, dispatch, stock control, and inventory management
• Valid driver’s licence
• Computer literate (MS Office and ERP/Warehouse systems)
• SAP experience advantageous
• Strong leadership and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment
