JobPurpose

To actively own and participatein the overall evolution of the Technology or Domain asset while influencingand maintaining the health of the asset. Play a leadership role on theassociated COE's.

JobResponsibilities

• Provideguidance to stakeholders in terms of expertise and experience
  
• Guideand practice code design, analysis and integration to ensure effectiveapplication of technology
  
• ConductTechnology reviews of code and design for quality assurance
  
• Contributeto asset health
  
• Adhereto and contribute to defining patterns / practices/standards inapplication of technology or domain
  
• Participatein Code Branching and Merging
  
• Playan advisory role to Engineering leads
  
• Collaborationwith domain architects and technical consultants regarding technologyand/or domain roadmaps
  
• Workwithin governance and compliance frameworks of the organisation
  
• Contributeinto detailed Technical roadmaps in context of the organisationarchitecture and interdependent technologies
  
• Contributeinto the planning and implement agreed technical roadmaps
  
• Conductresearch and development experimentation to test thinking regardingtechnology or domain applicability
  
• Ensurean understanding of technology or domain requirements, performanceintegrations and optimisation as positioned in organisation
  
• Assistwith and apply troubleshooting to resolve issues
  
• Evaluateand influence technology decisions
  
• Mitigaterisk by evaluating risks and impacts on technology or domain
  
• Updatethe asset knowledge base
  
• Providecoaching, mentoring and upskilling of others within area of expertise
  
• Supportthe achievement of the business strategy, objectives and values
  
• Stayabreast of developments in field of expertise
  
• Ensurepersonal growth and enable effectiveness in performance of roles andresponsibilities
  
• Contributeto the Nedbank Culture building initiatives (e.g. staff surveys etc.)
  
• Participateand support corporate responsibility initiatives for the achievement ofbusiness strategy
