Finance and Investment Operations Associate

We’re partnering with two established venue capital investment businesses seeking a highly organised Operations Associate to support a portfolio of investment entities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, values flexibility, and takes pride in delivering high-quality work without constant supervision.

You’ll work directly with the directors in a high-trust environment where outcomes matter far more than office hours.

What you’ll be doing

• Managing accounting records, reconciliations, journals, and cash tracking across multiple entities
• Preparing management accounts and supporting year-end financial processes
• Handling VAT, PAYE, provisional tax, and related statutory submissions
• Managing CIPC filings, company secretarial administration, and compliance requirements
• Maintaining investment records, legal documentation, and data rooms
• Supporting reporting processes and identifying opportunities to improve systems and efficiencies

What we’re looking for

• 3–8 years’ experience in accounting, finance operations, or fund/investment administration
• Strong practical accounting and tax experience
• Exposure to company secretarial or compliance functions
• Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities independently
• Someone who takes initiative and naturally looks for ways to improve processes
