A leading Alternative Investments and Asset Management group is seeking a Finance Executive to lead its finance, treasury, reporting, and strategic finance functions. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the role offers exposure to investment management, capital allocation, financial planning, and executive decision-making across international markets.

This opportunity will suit a commercially minded CA(SA) with a passion for investing and a desire to make a meaningful impact within a high-performance environment.

Key Focus Areas

• Lead the finance, treasury, accounting, and reporting functions across multiple international entities.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and performance management initiatives.
• Oversee investment valuations, portfolio reporting, and capital allocation analysis.
• Support investment professionals with financial modelling, transaction analysis, and deal implementation.
• Manage treasury activities including cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, banking relationships, and foreign exchange exposure.
• Drive finance automation, systems integration, digitisation, and AI-enabled reporting initiatives.

Experience & Educational Requirements

• Qualified CA(SA) with approximately 3-10 years post-articles experience.
• Experience within Private Equity, Asset Management, Venture Capital, Corporate Finance, Transaction Advisory, Investment Holdings, or similar investment-focused environments.
• Strong experience in financial modelling, valuations, financial analysis, and strategic finance.
• Exposure to treasury management, cash flow forecasting, and capital allocation activities.
• Strong commercial acumen with a genuine interest in investing and financial markets.
• Experience engaging with executive leadership, founders, boards, or shareholders, with exposure to finance automation, technology, or AI-driven process improvement considered advantageous.
