We’re hiring Senior Platform Engineers who will:

Design, deploy, and operationalise managed Kubernetes environments within customer data centres. This role is responsible for engineering scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-native platforms while leveraging DevSecOps best practices to automate delivery, maintenance, and lifecycle management.

As a key member of the Platform Engineering team, you will collaborate with customers, architects, developers, and support teams to deliver innovative platform solutions that enable business growth, operational excellence, and customer success

Must-have OpenShift skills:

• Strong hands-on experience as OpenShift Administrator / Developer (ideally RHCSA/RHCE/OpenShift certs)

• Deep knowledge of OpenShift architecture, Operators, Image Streams, Pipelines, Service Mesh & advanced security features

• Proven ability to automate OpenShift provisioning, upgrades, backups and day-2 operations at scale

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Platform Engineering

• Design, engineer, and deploy Kubernetes-based platform environments using cloud-native principles and industry best practices.
• Implement and integrate platform capabilities that enhance scalability, resilience, security, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of platform solutions into customer environments.
• Maintain, optimise, and evolve platform solutions to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
• Apply mature DevSecOps practices to automate provisioning, configuration management, monitoring, compliance, and maintenance activities.
• Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise in Kubernetes, containerisation, platform engineering, cloud-native technologies, and DevSecOps methodologies.

Continuous Improvement

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across platform engineering processes and operations.
• Identify opportunities for automation, standardisation, and efficiency improvements.

Performance Expectations

Platform Delivery

• Deliver fully operational platform environments within established project timelines.
• Ensure successful deployment and integration of platform solutions across customer environments.
• Deliver comprehensive architecture, operational, and support documentation for all platform solutions

Automation & Platform Health

• Automate at least 90% of platform provisioning and maintenance activities.
• Maintain high compliance levels across customer environments against platform health standards.
• Ensure customer platforms remain current, secure, monitored, and aligned with best practices.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Demonstrable proficiency in designing, delivering and maintaining platform solutions, including Red Hat OpenShift, VMware Tanzu, SUSE Rancher, and related Kubernetes and cloud native capabilities
Strong technical knowledge of automation, developer onboarding practices, cloud native security best practices, and engineering platforms for scalability and robustness within Kubernetes-based environments.
Ability to design, and implement complex platform solutions, ensuring they meet technical and business requirements.
Mastery of automation tools and practices to streamline provisioning, confi guration management, and ongoing maintenance of platform environments
Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and practices, including continuous integration and deployment and infrastructure as code
Proficiency in GitOps methodologies for managing infrastructure as code and ensuring consistency and version control
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and team members
Strong collaboration abilities to work closely with developers, architects, and support teams to design, implement, and maintain platform solutions
