This role will bring our visual content creation in-house, elevate our social media aesthetic, and support broader digital marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will have an exceptional eye for design consistency and be an expert in Canva Pro to produce high-quality, engaging assets across multiple distinct brands.Key ResponsibilitiesSocial Media Asset Creation: Design and produce a high volume of engaging, on-brand visual assets for various social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, etc.). Assets will be used by the Organic Social Media Manager.Multi-Brand Management: Efficiently manage and execute design requests for 4 distinct brands, ensuring each brand’s aesthetic and guidelines are maintained.Digital Marketing Support: Create visual assets to support paid campaigns on platforms like Facebook and Google, aimed at maximizing click-through and conversions.Template & Toolkit Maintenance: Maintain and expand the Canva Pro design templates and brand kits library.Brand Consistency: Act as the internal gatekeeper for all visual branding across channels and touchpoints.Collaboration: Work with Marketing and Social Media teams to translate objectives and copy into compelling designs.Adaptation & Optimization: Adapt designs based on performance data and feedback to improve visual effectiveness.Must-Have QualificationsCanva Expertise: Proficiency in Canva Pro, including advanced features, templates, brand kits, and collaboration tools.Design Experience: 3+ years in Marketing/Graphic Design focused on digital content and social media.Visual Aesthetic: Strong eye for design, typography, color theory, and brand consistency across platforms.Digital Optimization: Ability to design assets tailored to different social media specs (aspect ratios, file types, text-to-image ratios) to drive engagement.Time Management: Excellent organizational and project management skills to handle multiple requests across brands.Excellent English communication skills (C1+) — written and spoken.Industry Familiarity: Experience designing for weddings, events, or education/coaching industries.Advanced Software: Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) for non-Canva projects.Animation/Video Skills: Experience creating short-form video content or animated graphics for social media.Essential Tools and SoftwarePrimary Design Software: Canva ProAdvanced Design Software (Preferred): Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)Collaboration & Project Management: ClickUp, Asana/Trello, or similar toolsFile Management: Dropbox, Google Drive, or DAM systemOffice Suite: Google Workspace or Microsoft OfficeSuccess Metrics (KPIs)Asset Volume & Timeliness: Deliver high-quality assets on schedule to support the content calendar.Engagement Rate: Contribute to increases in engagement for organic social posts.Ad Performance: Improve CTR and conversion rates for Facebook and Google campaigns.Brand Consistency Score: Adherence to brand guidelines across the three brands.What’s NextScreening call with Somewhere, 2 interview rounds with the client, and a short assessment to gauge design work and fit.
