Job Description: - Produce detailed electrical designs and supporting calculations for building developments - Develop distribution, lighting, backup power, and reticulation solutions for a variety of projects - Participate in project planning, design reviews, and technical coordination meetings - Liaise with clients, architects, quantity surveyors, and contractors throughout project execution - Perform site inspections and monitor construction activities to ensure design compliance - Prepare technical reports, specifications, schedules, and tender documentation - Contribute towards the successful delivery of projects within budget and programme requirements Skills & Experience: - Minimum 4+ years' experience within an Electrical Building Services consulting environment - Proven experience designing electrical systems for commercial, residential, retail, healthcare, or industrial developments - Strong understanding of lighting, small power, reticulation, and standby power systems - Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office - Revit experience would be advantageous - Strong communication, project coordination, and problem-solving skills Qualification: - BEng or BSc in Electrical Engineering - ECSA registration or progress towards professional registration would be advantageous Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
