A boutique law firm based in Vanderbijlpark, Gauteng is looking for a motivated and capable Candidate Attorney who has a genuine interest in Family Law, Civil Litigation and Debt Collection and is looking to cede articles.

This is an opportunity for a Candidate Attorney who wants real court exposure, responsibility and the opportunity to play an active role in Magistrate’s Court matters.

POSITION INFO:
What you'll be doing The successful candidate will take a hands-on and leadership-oriented role in Magistrate's Court matters, including: - âï¸ Family Law matters - âï¸ Civil Litigation - âï¸ Debt Collection - Magistrate's Court appearances and related preparation - Assisting with the management of matters from inception through to resolution - Drafting and reviewing legal documentation - Liaising with clients, opposing attorneys and relevant stakeholders - Taking ownership of matters and ensuring deadlines are met Magistrate's Court experience and the ability to take leadership of these matters is a crucial requirement for this position. What we're looking for âï¸ Completed LLB degree âï¸ Currently a Candidate Attorney âï¸ Experience with Magistrate's Court appearances âï¸ Strong interest in Family Law, Civil Litigation and Debt Collection âï¸ Looking to cede articles âï¸ Driver's licence and own vehicle âï¸ Experience with LegalSuite would be advantageous âï¸ Experience with Court Online \/ CaseLines âï¸ Exceptional communication skills âï¸ Excellent attention to detail âï¸ Confident, professional and able to work independently âï¸ A proactive individual who is comfortable taking responsibility As this is a boutique law firm , professionalism, attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues are particularly important.
