Position: Experienced Business Mentor

Contract Type: Service provider – part‑time based

Rate: hourly rate (experience‑based)

Closing date: 17 July 2026

Area of Specialisation: High growth generalist business mentors.

Provinces: We welcome mentor applications from across South Africa and are especially encouraging applications from Mpumalanga, Northern Cape, Eastern Cape, and Free State.

Mentorship Requirements

• Have proven experience in business growth, strategy & resilience
• Have experience across industries and business sizes
• Bring strong networks and problem‑solving ability
• Can support business investment readiness and market readiness
• Demonstrate high Emotional Intelligence (EQ), integrity & leadership maturity
• Understand AI utilisation and modern business transformation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field; postgraduate qualification or Master's degree advantageous.
• At least 3 years of Business Mentorship experience
• Well networked with proven ability and success in unlocking business opportunities and access to market
• Advanced computer skills including MS Office Suite and comfort with use of technology
• Appetite for continuous learning
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Confident, ambitious, and forward‑thinking
• Strong reporting writing and critical thinking
