Account Executive

Overview

A fast-growing and innovative service provider in the tax technology and compliance sector is seeking a dynamic Account Executive to join their high-performing team. This role is ideal for a strategic, solutions-driven individual with a background in sales and client engagement, particularly in tax, fintech, SaaS, or professional services environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, market research, and digital tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator and ZoomInfo.

• Build and nurture long-term client relationships by offering tailored tax compliance solutions.

• Conduct solution-based sales presentations, clearly demonstrating value in addressing client pain points.

• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, ensuring alignment with client expectations and internal capabilities.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Legal, Customer Success) to deliver a seamless onboarding and client satisfaction experience.

• Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory updates to inform sales strategies.

• Maintain a robust pipeline using CRM platforms such as Salesforce, reporting progress and key metrics to the Head of Sales.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (postgraduate qualification advantageous).

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales within the tax, fintech, SaaS, or professional services industry.

• Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

• Experience with CRM systems and sales tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator and ZoomInfo.

• Self-motivated, highly organised, and results-oriented.

Preferred Experience

• Background in global tax compliance or VAT recovery solutions.

• Familiarity with regulatory software and tax technology platforms.

• Exposure to start-up or high-growth business environments.
